We can save the order to a quote or directly to a work order.  If the job is small and or you just need to you can save it directly to an invoice.

Also if this is an add on or the order has been building over a period of time you can save it to an existing quote, work order or invoice.

While you are saving the order, you will select a customer, have an opportunity to create a new customer, look at a mini-aging report for the customer, look at a quick view three year history for the customer, etc., etc.
